that’s what bob ebendorf had to say about this piece. probably one of the greatest compliments i’ve ever gotten about a ring.
here’s the progression of this ring…..
first: the main inner ring was made
second: i cut each little individual tube to the same size
third: each little tube was soldered on to the main ring
fourth: i had a cigarette..even though i don’t smoke

wow, i am so impressed with the amount of work you put into this ring. It looks simple but I realize it is no simple task to complete.
I think i would have had a cigarette also after attempting something like this. How long did the whole piece take to make?

This ring is amazing. i want to take up smoking just looking at it. i also love what you’ve been doing with enamel. i’m busy working on some enamel pieces too. these rings are great….
