sterling silver-wax-epoxy-plaster
not sure exactly how i feel about this piece. i’m excited by the ideas it has given me though. i’m going to be making more of these that have a bit more of a pattern to them. how it was made: a base of wax was put down on the inside of the ring, then a layer of epoxy was poured on top of that, once the epoxy hardened i drilled holes randomly and then filled them in with plaster. it’s kind of mesmerizing to wear it; my brain is constantly trying to find a familiar pattern within the dots.

It looks like the Star Wars effect at the beginning of the movie – or the snow in CNY that
I see all too often anymore. Certain people here are saying you may want to make some
larger sizes though – just a thought. Pimping it for you!!
