kerrock is an a modern counter top material that can be cut, carved, sanded and buffed. it comes in a variety of different colors; i find red and white to be the most appealing. most kerrock dealers will sell scraps of the material at a bulk price.

sterling silver-steel washer-enamel

this ring was made by first torch firing a steel washer with enamel. the black speckles that happen are sort of unpredictable, so each washer always turns out a little different. i then made a sterling silver setting and riveted the washer onto the ring. not to toot my own horn, but i think this might just be the best tube rivet that i’ve ever made. i’ve been out of practice too…so i was extremely pleased with how it turned out.

this is a one-of-a-kind hand crafted ring. this ring combines my love for nature and my love for tacky things like fake grass. whoever invented it was surely a genius.
